Systems thinking meets agentic AI

Building for the way families actually talk.

In a world of complex productivity apps, Raúl García Lemus is building for the way families actually talk. His project, RememberMe, is a voice-first Spanish assistant that turns household chaos into a coordinated stream of reminders and shared lists.

By bridging his deep background in automotive systems engineering with modern agentic AI, Raúl has created a tool that feels less like a database and more like a helpful family member.

“I build intelligent systems that solve real-world problems by making technology as natural as a conversation.”

— Raúl García Lemus

02 / The project

Voice-first AI for family coordination

RememberMe

The challenge

The Friction of Family Coordination

Family organization is fragmented across apps that feel like a chore, especially for non-English speakers. Too much typing and manual navigation lead to missed reminders and forgotten grocery items.

For Spanish-speaking families, tools that default to English add even more friction and cognitive load.

The solution

Organize the household through conversation.

RememberMe centralizes family organization through a Spanish-language voice assistant. Users manage shared shopping lists and reminders entirely through natural speech.

  • Natural Spanish voice interaction with ElevenLabs
  • Secure collaborative shopping lists
  • Real-time sync and push notifications
  • Mobile-first Progressive Web App

03 / Impact

01

Family-First Design

Natural Spanish voice commands remove technical barriers from complex schedules and lists.

02

Voice-Driven Automation

ElevenLabs and Supabase power authenticated tool calls, reducing manual data entry to zero.

03

Secure Collaboration

PostgreSQL RLS enables safe, real-time collaboration across devices and users.

04 / How it was built

Production-minded from interface to infrastructure.

RememberMe is a PWA built with React, TypeScript and Vite in a pnpm monorepo, with an Express API and Supabase backend. PostgreSQL Row-Level Security protects authentication and data access.

The voice experience uses a custom ElevenLabs Conversational AI widget. JWT and timezone data travel through WebSocket dynamic variables to enable secure, authenticated tool calls.

Engineering challenges overcome

  1. Encrypted web push. End-to-end notifications in Supabase Edge Functions.
  2. Secure invitations. RLS and SECURITY DEFINER functions prevent privilege escalation.
  3. Authenticated voice actions. Reliable JWT delivery through WebSocket handshakes.

05 / Competency passport
